Why Us?
The Why?
We have walked with God in desert places and lush pastures. In our journey, God has caused us to cross paths with multitudes of people from all walks of life. In these crossings, we have met some people who are filled with hope, but so many more who are without hope in this world.
We have witnessed an extreme lack of hope in many people’s lives – including believers. We see them going through the basic, mundane efforts of life, feeling alone and hopeless.
The pressures and stresses of daily life are like a scorching sun beating down on the souls and hearts of so many. From this constant beating down, anxiety, and depression rise. You can see it in the faces, especially the eyes, of people around you.
Think for just a few moments of the people around you. How many of them are living in brokenness? They seem to be hopeless based on their past, weary as they live today, and fearful as they look at tomorrow. It’s not a far walk from there to complete despair.
They are like sheep without a Shepherd.
Matthew 9:36, “When He saw the crowds, He was moved with compassion and pity for them, because they were dispirited and distressed, like sheep without a shepherd”.
So, What Did Jesus Do?
Matthew 9:37-38 states,” Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest is [indeed] plentiful, but the workers are few. So, pray to the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into His harvest.”
As The Lord has shared His transparent heart with us, our hearts have been moved with compassion and pity to be transparent with His sheep. He has sent us out to show from The Word, and from life experiences, restorative messages in all their fullness for the glory of God.
What Do We Offer?
Interactive Experiences of Restoration
We have been called to be Ambassadors for God, to offer messages of restoration and refreshing for the mind and soul, and to teach what it means to practice and live in transformation of the mind so that as His followers we can reflect the Mind of Christ. Philippians 2:2 AMPC
How Will We Do This?
We will present opportunities for your community to receive and respond to messages of God’s Love and Heart for all people by:
• Fervently praying for your community before, during and after our visit; and praying with them so that they may apprehend these truths from Eph. 3:17-19 through faith, Christ may dwell in our hearts, and that we may have the strength to understand God’s love.
• Passionately presenting engaging teaching that involves response from participants. For we know that from 2 Peter 3:9, God desires that all people come to know Him and experience salvation.
• Transparently sharing our hearts in personal stories that reveal God’s restorative work in our own brokenness and seasons of despair.
• Bringing messages as The Holy Spirit leads that will equip and unify the Body. Eph 4:12-13.
2 Corinthians 5:14-20 is the foundation for all we do in ministry. Especially 19-20: And He has committed to us the message of reconciliation [that is, restoration to favor with God]. So we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making His appeal through us; we [as Christ’s representatives] plead with you on behalf of Christ to be reconciled with God.
